Since launching [LIFE] sessions almost two months ago, each inquiry and family I get to shoot seriously makes my heart go pitter-patter. I am so loving how unique and special each ones of these sessions is. Each family has chosen a part of their every day for me to document, making each session and scenario totally different and unique to the individual family. This is exactly what I intended these sessions to be all about. The everyday, the times we may take for granted, but the truly important times that will matter in the future when our kids are grown. ” I think it’s so cool to capture these moments, the everyday that we’ll never get back. I feel like we stopped the clock just a little by commemorating this especially fleeting moment in our lives with 2 little ones who are growing up way too fast.” – mama
The Martin family and I spent the afternoon together biking/walking to their favorite park, playing hide and seek, having a picnic and just enjoying the afternoon. After we wrapped up with one of their favorite board games at their dining room table and spent some quiet time together. “My favorite image is the one you got of me looking at Juni while we were playing the game at the table. It was my marveling at my little girl, in awe of her beauty and energy.” – mama
Make sure to watch the video until the end to see this image, it’s my favorite too. 🙂
I couldn’t have loved their energy, family dynamic and session any more. If you are interested in learning more about how we can create these memories for your family you can find more information here. You may also contact me directly. I’d love to hear from you!
And, these kinds words from this amazing mama makes each and every second spent on this project 100% worth it –
“Our [LIFE] photo session was easy, fun, and beautiful! It’s awesome to be able to play with your kids/ family and have someone document all the little things–the kisses and laughs, hide&seek and bike rides to the park. Our captured moments are just a small piece of our lives in this especially fleeting time with our babies who are growing up too fast, and looking through the photos and video just a few weeks later makes my heart stop. I’m so grateful that we had the opportunity to pause our crazy busy lives to record these moments that we’ll look back on and relive many many years from now. Thanks to you, Alissa. “
